As a relocated mural artist from the east coast, I am finding living in New Mexico for the past year eye opening and inspiring. I am now creating sculptures in my Galisteo studio that connect with the land that surrounds me. I still have a desire to add some sparkle and color to my sculptures but have started to blend nature and found objects into the work. I have learned the hard way that they must be able to withstand crazy wind storms and intense sun. I take on the challenge as I continue to create art that reflects both my inner and outer life as well as the places in which they happen.
