Growing up in New Mexico and living part time in Alaska I developed a strong connection and love for majestic landscapes. Inspired by nature and our psychological connection to place, my works draw parallels between the world around us and the landscapes of the mind. The use of an anomalous color palette adds to the bizarre nature of these otherworldly portraits.
Recently I have been working with oil paint on canvas. Prior to studying fine art at the University of New Mexico I traveled nationally and internationally painting murals in New Orleans, Louisiana; Zipolite, Mexico; Valparaiso, Chile; Cuzco, Peru. I currently live and work in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I love our city and would be grateful to be a part of uplifting the community through art.
I received a BFA in Studio Art from University of New Mexico in 2019.
