A.L. Grime, Bold Pattern Work meets Powerful Portraiture

Hello!

My name is Ally Grimm and I am a muralist, illustrator, and designer painting under the moniker A.L. Grime. I am based out of Denver, CO, though I am often traveling to share my work. My work delves into the realms of masculine versus feminine, nature versus machinery and logic versus emotion. I examine life in a technological era by juxtaposing the human experience with digital analysis and stretch the dichotomy of female and masculine energies while simultaneously bringing equilibrium through calculated, emotion-driven patterns.
I work primarily in black and white to show this juxtaposition, but then use linework and patterns to create balance. My work fits perfectly in schools, on libraries, in concert venues, or in public spaces enjoyed by a young, hip crowd.
