Kerry Bergen considers herself a diverse artist and she likes to explore the creative processes. Her work ranges from mixed media, abstract, to pop art, and folk arts. She teaches at various venues in the Albuquerque area including the South Broadway Cultural Center, City Cultural Services Old Town Events, and the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe. Bergen's real passion is teaching what she calls “make and take” cultural crafts. Her mission is to help children and families learn more about the diversity of the world and how we live simultaneously, in multiple cultures. She strives to provide her students with the tools to create beautiful art using their own individual insights.
