This 9-foot by 20-foot mural was commissioned by The Source, a collection of wellness practitioners combined with a childcare facility that also provides meeting spaces for creatives. It was painted on an exterior stucco wall facing their community garden, west of Michael Thomas Coffee at 1111 Gibson SE. Reflecting The Source’s focus on new-age classes, wellness, the arts and gardening, the images were drawn from an early-Greek depiction of the muses, a Babylonian painting of a garden, as well as earth, sky, and sea gods and goddesses from Roman, Greek and Egyptian mythology.
